Redesign Existing Web Site

Most companies and organizations already have a web site, but you may be looking for a new look or a reorganization of your existing web site.  RLM specializes in taking over existing web sites, reorganizing and coming up with a new fresh look for the site.  The process for redesign is similar to developing a new web site.  Here are the things RLM needs:

• Addresses of example sites that you like
• Things you want to change on your web site
• Any new photos you want to include in the design

Web Design Process

The first step in the design process to develop an outline for how you want to reorganize your web site including anything new you want to add to it.  RLM will create this outline for your review.  Once we have the outline nailed down, the next step is coming up with a new design. RLM currently uses Kim Adams of Tiger Studios for all web design work.  RLM has been working with Kim since 1999 when she left the National Renewable Energy Laboratory to set out on her own. 

Kim will come up with a couple design options in JPG format for you to review.  If any of the designs are close to what you want, let us know which design you like and what, if any, changes you'd like to make to the chosen design.  If the changes are major, we'll come back with another design JPG.  If they are minor, we'll go ahead, make the changes and lay out the home page and one subpage for you site.

Web Layout Process

Once RLM has the home page and subpage layouts, we tweak the layouts to our specs to make the sites easier to maintain.  We design all our sites for ease of maintenance.

RLM will now take the information in your current site and any new information you have provided and/or any new system that we have to install on your site and layout your redesigned site. Once the information is laid out, we will publish the web site to a temporary location for your review.  Once the new layout is approved, its ready to go online.  If you are not satisfied with your current web hosting company, RLM can provide web hosting services at a very reasonable cost or we can publish your site to your current host.
